This guy near me has a 2001 honda rubicon for sale for 1000 bucks... only 1150 miles on it.. but the seat is ripped, needs brakes tuned up and the engine makes alot of noise sounds like its maybe the crank bearings...but it drives and shifts really good.. what do ya think... was gonna buy it and if i thought it was too far gone was gonna dump it on ebay maybe make a little cash on it?

 

I'd jump all over it in a heartbeat. I'd tear it down and do a rebuild if the engine isn't real bad shape. Even parting it out I'd guess you could get more than $1000 out of it.
