Out here offroad is a BIG family activity. Presidents Day, we had 10 families (~60 riders) camped out in the Mojave Desert. We put all the trailers in a big circle, the campfire in the middle, and it becomes our own small town. Both my kids have relatively new bikes and the best gear. They are 7 and 10, so they are to young to have jobs, but as a dad I think it is important to support them in this. We easily have $100K invested in our recreational equipment, but I know it is worth it, and some day my kids will appreciate what's been done for them-and I hope they will do the same for their kids!!!

I was born on a dairy farm and have worked on it ever since I can remember. I am conservitive with my money and don't blow it on useless stuff like beer and other stuff. my first big purchase was when I was 13, and bought a recon with my own money. Then when I was 15, I traded for a 2000 400ex.

Well to be honest my parents bought all my qauds. They have bought everything for my 250r.I don't ask for some of it though.Like when i got my a-arms he just thought I needed them so he bought them.About the only things I have asked for are the bumper and handlebars.Which I got for christmas.I kinda have to pay though. When all the other kids are out partying and havin fun I am at home either washing the qauds or workin on my mx track.I also worked on the house everyday for 2 years. The only things I have bought for my qauds are pivot works swingarm bearings, oil, oil filters, gas, clutch perch. Not along list but I try.
I am getting ready to turn 16 in july and you can bet I WILL have a job.

I have worked since ive been about seven at my dads auto salvage, I would cut weeds with a weed wacker that was twice as tall as me, talk about some bust a$$ work for a seven year old. But ill tell you what i wouldnt have it any other way i learned alot from those days and dont regret having to work while the other kids played and got into trouble all summer. After a couple of summers we got a stolen 230 quadsport and never got the title for it so it became mine, needless to say i didnt work that hard for the next couple of weeks.I am 20 now and work at a Sunaco gas station to support my quad addiction, just till the weather breaks and then im getting a job roofing or excavating. Something hardworking and good money. Man, I got a 01 Banshee and a 1 year old boxer dog to support.... HE HE

I'm 16 and i have my own job at a local car dealership cleanin cars. I got a loan off my dad to buy my 99 300ex. I'm glad to say i paid it all back and that i have to pay for everything i do to my quad. He also helped me buy my first quad which was a 200sx(we went halfers on it because i was too young to have a job).
