What's the scoop on the new 420's with power steering?

Probably not to an experienced rider like you. After 11,000 accident free miles I'm sure you will never have an accident.

Well, the Honda TRX420 PG "Canadian Trail Edition" has been ordered, and is supposed to arrive February 16. We added the SE option (only available on the 2011's), which gives you a rear cargo box, a front cargo bag, a 2500 Lb. winch, a windshield, and a 12-volt outlet (which is great for plugging in your helmet). It comes with EFI and power steering, which is great since it will be for smaller riders (wife and daughter).
We'll see soon enough how the 24" tires perform up at the cottage, in the snow and on the lake ice. My own quad is a much bigger Can-Am Outlander 650 Max XT, with lovely 26" Carlisle radial tires, and we'll see if the Honda can make it through the same mud holes in the Spring - can't wait!

Thanks, guys - will post pics of course. And will be headed for the "Springjam" ATV jamboree at the end of April, in Parry Sound, Ontario, 1.5 hours north of Toronto, where there is some of the best riding on the planet! (Up to 400 ATV's participate.)

My friend saved $2000 Canadian buying a regular 420 Rancher, theres a bit of hoops to jump through but well worth the $2000 saving. No shipping cost, we live in the Sault Ontario that borders with Sault Michigan.

.)So the final question is, what does Honda Canada have to say about warranty work on Honda ATVs bought by Canadians in the U.S.? (A moot point perhaps for those in border towns who can simply scoot over the border for service, but a major issue for those who use their Hondas at the cottage, some 4 hours North of the border.)
Some food for thought.

P.S. here is a video reviewing the Rancher 420;

All I know is he saved $2000 Canadian when everthing was said and done vs buying it in Sault Canada., The Warranty was not a large issue since there only 6 month long and are over before you know it. I know guys who ran there warranty almost out while it was stored for the winter.
