450r exhaust help

Default 450r exhaust help

just got a 450r and it has a new dasa pipe and header. its a great pipe but its too loud for where im riding. should i just get a quiet core insert? what about jetting?

IF they make a quiet core for your model it is a good way to loose a few DB. I'm not sure what you mean by jetting. do you want to know if the quiet core will make you have to rejet. or is the quad not jetted right already.

the bike is jetted already im just trying to find out if it needs to be rejetted once i install the quiet core?

Adding the quiet core may make it run a bit rich, but I doubt enough to worry about a jetting change.

does anybody have this pipe on their bike with the quiet core installed? does it make a big difference in how loud it is? trying to find a cheap solution for making this bike quieter. i would just buy a new pipe but this one is like brand new.
