I doubt we'll see an injected Rubicon for some time due to the expense of the hydrostatic trans.

And why not just make it a 680??

I think if Honda built both an SRA (Rubicon) and a IRS Rincon with the HondaMatic and a sub-transmission they would sell a lot more of both.

Due to the simple fact that the Rubicon is way short on power in deep snow I doubt my next ATV will be a Honda.

I'm leaning towards a bigger bore than the 500 myself. Done a lot more driving in the snow in the last couple years and it just doesn't power up the hills in high range. Maybe if I ever lose the 100 lbs. it will have the same effect.

PS Not trying to hijack the thread. Just wondering what Honda is up to these days.

And so are 90% of all the other ATVs.

I guess the ATV industry is competing with the truck manufactures in seeing who can build the ugliest.

yup, im shocked as well- the missing fender flar's are a huge miss- man those flar's have saved me from cracking my fenders countless times! O'well looks like a grizz 700 with power stearing is in store soon, that and yamaha also built a sweet efi liquid cooled wr250r dual sport bike- somethnig honda hasnt done yet either. Honda just slapped a updated remake of the early 1980's xr200r (atc 200s) engine that doesnt even have camshaft berrings into a steel frame with ugly lighting and called it the crf230L
Honda will be cought with there pants down without anything cool when people start makeing money again. they will miss 2 years of reccod sales for sure

The new foreman looks like a rancher with a uglier grill. If you really look at it from the side on the 360 spin on the honda web site it just might be a rancher frame and body but a differnt grill.
