What psi does everyone run in their tires? The recommended 3.6 psi for the stock tires seems awfully soft taking fast corners on hard-pack. Thanks in advance

I think its to little psi myself... Last weekend i was out riding with friends and when dropping off into a creek bottom or hitting a pot hole it felt like the rim was making contact with the ground and it did seem want to roll more in the corners than when i felt it should have.I have the stock dirt hooks.I would like some more info on this question myself. Thanks for posting it.

Even though the manual says 3.6 psi, you can put more in. I have Titan 589s, and i run between 5 and 7. Put in what feels right. My neighbor successfully ran 30 pounds in his tires when on a poker run, but i wouldnt suggest that much.

I've seen tips recommending up to 9 psi. If you were to put a guage my tires now, you'd find 6 psi.

Thanks for the tips! My stock Honda tire guage only goes up to 5 psi, so today I went riding and aired them up to 5 psi and it did seem better going over bumps, rocks and around sharp corners.

You'll find that running high psi (6-9) will give you a solid feeling when riding on hardpack or trail, but when it rains or when your hill climbing over bumpy terrain (you lose momentum when your tires are bouncing up in the air); you'll find you get much improved traction if you run 3-4 psi.

We are running 6 psi now in the Rancher instead of 4. The wife was really bending up the rims! It makes for a little more bouncy ride.

i use 4.5 on slow climbing over large rocks. if
i'm running fast stuff that doesn't eat up my
shocks with hairpin turns i run 5.5.

I don't have a rancher, but run 7 psi in all my quads. It doesn't seem to impact the traction very much and you actually gain ground clearance. All of the quads feel much more agile and have alot lighter steering. I've tried up to nine psi but feel that is to much. 6-7 psi seems ideal for most all situations. Mud
