Default Recon clutch replacement

yes, another recon problem, love the bike but it seems to be endless with things, what could be next.

I am cuttently in the middle of replacing the clutch but im completely stuck, i have the front of the motor accesable and i have taken out what i believe are all of the bolts holding the case on but it just wont come loose no matter how much prying goes on, any ideas?

Shop manual just says to remove the cover after all the bolts have been removed.

Have you tried tapping on it with a block of wood or rubber mallet?

I have the motor sitting on the workbench and tried the rubber mallet and no luck, everything is disconnected from the front of the motor and it appears there shouldnt be anything else holding it back. the only thing i can think of is that possibly the gasket is very well glued/sealed on both sides making it difficult to pull apart, i dont want to hit the case too hard and break anything, any suggestions? i'd like to get it apart today so please help someone????
