Ruby Questions from a 500 SP owner
#1
Is there anyone out there with a Ruby that has some mileage on it~ say over 2000 miles/kms?? As a former Honda man I am very interested how they are holding out. Also what is the ride, fuel mileage, handling etc compared to the Foreman? I have 98 500 SP Polaris with over 6000 miles and I really like it but I am beginning to sink some money into it unlike my numerous honda's from the past. If Polaris put considerable effort into realiabilty instead of marketing they would no problem with keeping ordinary guys like me. Thanks for the info.

I traded my 450ES for a Rubi about a month ago. I don't have alot of miles on the Rubi yet but I am very pleased with it so far. It is a typical Honda in that everything on it works perfectly. All the controls including shifting choices work great. I was very surprised to find that the steering is even better than the ES. It has alot more power than the 450 and the best part is the tranny. I have been mudding several times and the most impressive thing about the tranny is that it seems to always have the engine RPM in the right range for the conditions. I was expecting alot from this new tranny and have found it to be even better than I ever expected. You really have to ride one to understand!!

I don't think you will find to many people that
have a rubicon with that many miles.I got 130 miles on mine I no thats not alot but it's enough
to convince me it's just as reliable as my foreman
I sold my sportsman to get my rubicon and I'm sure
glad I did.

I sold a Foreman 450s and bought the Ruby and man what a difference in steering and comfort. The Foreman is a great machine but in my opinion the Ruby is better. I have 750 miles on mine through every condition except desert and it has performed flawlessly.

I am well pleased with mine. I have 115 mile's on it. It has performed great with no problem's at all. However if you buy one you will no doubt take a bashing from that ho soulman guy that is alway's on here running his mouth about Honda's. I don't know about you guy's but I could live without his imput on the topic's that are posted on here.
