Rincon Dies in water?
#1
I have read as many posts as I can about this. My question is the other day I was going through water about as deep as my 26" tires, and while going through my bike quit? I had no water in my airbox, it was dry. When we pulled it out I pulled the plug which was wet and fired the bike a few times and a little water came out. I dried my plug put it back in and it fired no problem. I am going to do the carb vent line re-routing today and put a tee in my carb overflow line. My question I guess is I don't go looking for deep water or mud so I don't want to get crazy with snorkels and stuff but will the re-routing and di-electric grease solve this? I have a 2" power tip on the exhaust is the bigger exhaust letting water in? Thanks

If it dies when you are in shallow water then my guess would be that some of your electrical connections are getting wet and you should probably coat the inside of any connectors with an electrical grease.
