I am considering to buy an exhaust for my 300ex and ive narrowed it down between the FMF powercore 2, DMC dual system, and the white bros e-series. can any of you guys help me decide?

dont buy FMF. and a powercore 2 is for 2 strokes, for fmf they make megamax 2 and powercore 4 i believe.dont buy cobra or DG either.they are cheep.DMC is what i would get if i wouldnt have jumped on my DG(i got it cuz i got a good deal on it).white bros is a very good one also.

I just put a DMC on my kid"s 300EX. It's about 4 # lighter then stock. I had to back out a head stud to install the exhaust manifold. Also used a longer muffler bolt then stock.I grinded off the stock center pipe mounting bracket but this was probably not needed. I need to apply foil tape to the inside right rear fender plastic to prevent melt down. Sounds so sweet . Be careful it heats up quickly ! We had no time to ride it yet due to my kid having major surgery.
I'm not sure wether it needs to be jetted up. He had been running it with the air box off.I plan to run it wfo and shut it down quickly in 4th or 5th gear (clutch pulled in)and pullthe plug.
Good Luck.

dirt wheels did a 400ex pipe shootout (I know its for a 300ex) and white bros. e-series made the most power and the least noise, with a spark arrester. less noise is a good thing! that was silencer only. with a headpipe you'll be pushin the ponies!

when I get mine though, I'm goin with the supertrapp ids2. you get the headpipe and silencer for as much as the white bros.e-series silencer only.

I'd get the white brothers pro meg and head pipe it adds alot of power and is loud but not as loud as dmc and dg, but if you get it make sure you jet it right because it sputters and has hesitation if you dont jet it right.

I have the PowerCore IV-2 S/A. It came with a header. The power increase was substantial!
