Nice looking tread pattern. Kind of a cross between an ITP Mudlite XTR and an Interco Swamplite.

 

The quick steering is impressive and they seem to be a VERY aggressive tire. So far I'm impressed with them over all except for STI claims "Its over-center tread elements are designed to provide a smooth, controlled ride on hard pack" but they are rough on hard pack.

I would say that the Black Diamonds are in the same category of tire as my Carlisle ACT HDs and they are as smooth as glass on hard pack, even asphalt.
