I have a IMS 4 gal. and I hit reserve before 400ex's do when I am riding hard. Also you could get a out-n-back rack it holds a cooler and 1 gal. of gas. That is what i got first and then i found out that I was using more than that to ride as long as stock tanked 400ex's so I got the ims 4.0 gal tank.

If you are worried about gas mileage either keep a gas can wherever you unload your quad, and go back there every couple of hours, Or buy a Eaton 50, I heard they get good mileage.

I really would rather not have to get a 6 pack rack. I have no proablem with gettin a IMS tank tho. Where we ride, we have trails to get to the places we ride. We dont really truck to riding areas. Normally we ride 15 miles of trails and fields to get to the pits we ride. Now i have a wolverine and most of the people i ride with have warriors and raptors, so we just ride the trail down to the mobil and fill up. But with a R i cant.

Carry premix with you in a small container that will fit in a fanny pack. Then, pump gas for that particular amount of premix and you're set.

I know you can run a whole GNCC on a 3.6 IMS tank
but your gettin close to empty. With a 3.6 you can figure it at 40 to 45 miles and thats topped off.
