ok guys i really need some help this time. i really need new tires. i've decided on the 6 ply bandits up front. but in back is where i'm stuck. my first problem is i don't knwo exactly what kind of riding i'll be doing. i might be racing but i don't know yet. but for sure i'll be in sand a lot and mud quite a bit and hardpack too. so i am stuck on what tires. my current rears are 22-11-00-10 here is the list of possible tire choices that i want in no particular order:

realters- my worry about these are being too heavy and sucking up too much power. also i'm worried about them not sliding very well. i plan on getting getting the size 22-12-10 also how well do they hold up?

shredders- size 20-11-10. these are the tires that sound good for racing. but how are they in the sand and mud? also i need them to last a long time.

sur-tracs- size 22-11-10. i have the same worries with these as i hve with the realters however i hear they slide fairly well for being a mud tire.

fast trekkers (i have also seen them called rear trekkers)- these are made by titan. size 20-10-10
these might be my most likely choice. however i'm worried once again on how long they last. i don't want any tires like razrs that wear out really fast.

dirt devils- these are kind of a last resort tire. i don't know anything about them other than how they look so any info on em would help. how do they do in mud, sand, hardpack, ect. do they last?
i want size 22-11-10

bandit rears- another last resort. these were my second choice until i hear about them being heavy and not cleaning out good in the mud. size 22-10-10

so if any1 has these tires help me out pleeeeeeeease! i need to knw how they work in different types of terrain and how well they wear.

also i'm thinkin about getting carbon fiber rims instead of aluminum since the ad for em says their the same price. i don't do any riding thats hard enough to break the carbon fiber i don't think so i should be fine. what do you think?

Go with the realtors... They are the best tire I have ever bought and I will never get anything other than them. They are an awesome tire for mud and sand. I dont think i have ever gotten stuck in sand with them. There are a lot of hills around where I ride that have very little room to accelerate and get momentum, and with realtors you don't need a lot of room you just have to keep them spinning. Plus you can change them around if you are going to be in dirt or soft sand. The tread ware is really good for the amount of rubber that is touching the ground I have had mine for about 8 months and I still have another 3 or 4 months left with them. (I have to ride on pavement for about a mile to get to trails and I ride at least 2 times a week for 4 hours.)

Good Luck With The Tires!

BTW RedDog400ex did you notice any power loss when you put on your realters?

Not too much, drained some because they are a bigger tire than stock the stock ones, but any tire that is good for mud/sand will drain about the same amount.

those fast trekkers wonr last you long at all, i'd get the realitors thats what all the banshee's and 250r's use up here they spin awesome and make a nasty roost and climb great + great in mud and a great all around tire and they will last you quite a while and when one side wears down flip them around and they start bitten again.

Realtors are a very good tire for mud and they wear slow. But they are heavy! They suck for sliding too but it's because they have too much traction.
