I can't comment on fast trekkers on the rear because i have them up front, but so far the front fast trekkers are holding up great. They don't seem like "sliding" type of tire since they have a very "square" hard profile, but like i said i have them in the front so maybe the backs are different. I have turf tamers in the rear which are alot rounder (on the edges) and slide great.

I've had the rear trekkers and yes, they were a tire you could slide and they were a tire that hooked up good!! The only down fall is that they are a flat waiting to happen. The way they designed it was not a good idea. Between the treads are too wide, you have about 2 inch gap between the knobbs and thats not good at all. I would have to say that its not how fast the tire wears its how fast you'll get a flat tire!!!!! I would recommend the bandits!!!! For places you said you would be riding to me that seems like the right way to go. I've heard alot of good things about them and I plan on getting a set in a couple weeks. Tried the holeshots and wasn't pleased at all!!!!!!
