I just checked my '00 400ex and it was mis-adjusted. It only opened up about 80-85%. It took about ten minutes to adjust following Gabe's instructions. Thanks, Gabe.

I rode it today, and I found that it made very little difference (a little better) on all-out acceleration. On the top end I think I am hitting the rev limiter both before the adjustment and after, so there does not appear to be any difference at the top end.
