If so who makes them and how much. Reason being I am getting a 440 kit installed and I was told I need hard faced rockers. I looked everywhere for them and no luck. The guy putting the kit in said I only need new oem rockers because of the different wear because of the new cam and that oem rockers are hardfaced. All info will be greatly appreciated.

What you do is send your stock rockers off to a company that hardens them. Mega Cycle Cams did mine for $200.

Look under Poweroll or powroll .com

Try different combinations of that. They make big bore kits for everything. I saw some data they had on hard face rockers for the XR-400 big bore big cam kits. They said if you go to a high lift cam, you had to have the hardened rockers or they wore out really fast because of the design of the rocker system.

Good luck
Gary
