I have a buddies 98 450 with no front brake shoes on it,I have new shoes,cylinders ect... and have put many sets on in the past but I cannot remember the shoe direction,I'm thinking the "smooth" side goes to the cylinder piston and the side of the shoe with the step or notch goes to the adjuster.Is this correct? It's been a while.Usually I just put them on the way the old ones come off but as mentioned it had none
