Question 300ex V.S. Yamaha Blaster

I have a 1996 Honda 300ex that is completely stock with the exception of the maier racing plastic. I recently bought a yamaha blaster that is .50 over and it has all the specialty items. my blaster blows my 300ex out of the water so i was wondering if anyone has any advise on what mods to change on the 300ex to be able to stomp the little blaster in the ground

It cannot be done. You would spend more money on the 300 than it would be worth. My son races a blaster in the 450 class in cross country racing and has never gotten worse than 3rd. Yamaha blasters and banshee's for that matter are FAST.

Good luck getting a 4 stroke of comparable size to keep up

And remember if its fast there must be oil in the gas. 2-strokes are the way

Default ok

I guess its time to get rid of the 300ex then. I looked into a .80 over bore kit for the 300 and a couple other things but thanks for ur input, banshees are pretty common around here so i will look around
