i want to get itp hole shot tires but when i size them (rocky mountain) the only size is 20x11-9 and mine are 20x10-9?!?! although it says the will fit the Honda TRX 400ex (2004) my manual says otherwise will they fit?

 

you should be fine I went up 1" width on my 450 just a little better traction

 

will they fit my rims though? there the stock rims on an 04 400 ex?

The width is the 10/11 number so you can vary that an inch either way. Your rim is 10" wide. So, the 20 x 11 - 9 tire will be 1/2" wider on each side of the rim. No problem. But the DIAMETER of your rim is 9". You have to stick with a 9" diameter tire to fit your rim. The first number in the 20 x 11 - 9 is the total outside diameter (or height from the ground to the top of the tire). This may vary. The second number is the width. This may vary. The third number is the diameter of the rim itself. The tire you put on a 9" rim MUST be 9".
