Well the topic says it all, same compression same bore but just a different stroke. So how about it guys? If not will the 300's rod fit on the 250's crank to give me some extra cc's? I dont want to shell out big bucks for a stroker crank.

 

The 300 EX rod will fit, but most aftermarket company's sell a long rod for the X to bring it up pretty much equal with a 300EX aftermarket long rod.
If you look at Powrolls website www.powroll.com, you will see that the aftermarket rod they offer for the X is a 12.7mm stroker and the ne they offer for the EX is a 4.5mm stroker. This is due ot the fact that the 300EX already has a longer rod.
