I found a guy who has a 1999 300EX $2800 but he said someone has painted the plastic. He said the wheeler was in great shape otherwise. Any idea how much new plastic is for this bike?

I got black maier race cut plastic for mine for $219. It should be here in a few days though so i dont know how good it looks.

 

I just bought a 1998 300ex that needs new front plastic. Service Honda has the stock Honda front plastic for $137 per front fender (ouch), and that's cheaper than the dealer. http://www.hipersports.com sells Maier plastic for much cheaper than Maier's web site, I think it was $130 for race cut front fenders (This includes both sides), and $55 for the add-on front fenders (includes both sides)if you want the stock shape and size fenders. They don't sell the front plastic in stock size and shape without you putting the add on fenders on. I can't remember how much the rear plastic was, but it's on their web site. The previous owner of mine had "race-cut" the front pastic himself, so I just ordered the add-on front fenders, and I'm going to see if they fit the stock plastic I have before ordering the additional race-cut parts. By the way, if you are replacing all of the plastic, you can pick front several different colors from Maier (yellow is cool )

you can get used ones for cheap. i have a set in ok shape if you want i can send a pic of them. they are factory not after market.

 

whats the diff. between (add on and race cut)
