Default XTRs vs executioners

Im thinking of buying a new set of 27 in mud tires. I have a set of Xtrs on my Rubicon already and I love them. Executioners are cheaper tho so im not sure what to go with. My friend has a pair and although they look beefy i wasnt really impressed by their performance, what do you guys think ? I mostly ride rough muddy trails

I have had the XTRs on my X2 for about 2000 miles now and love them. No flats, been through lots of nasty mud and they still have most the tread left. I say, if you like them and can afford them, stay with them. Just my .02 worth.

If you're looking for a GREAT deal on some tires, check out the clearance prices on our Duro ATV tires. We're clearing out our stock on them and you won't find a better price while they last. Check them out quick.

I ride with Executioners and everyone else in my group rides with Mudlite XLs. I like the stiffness of the Executioners over the ITPs and their tread wraps to the edge. The ITPs are much softer and more flexible and do grip better on roots and rocks, but in my experience, the Executioners are more damage and puncture resistant than the ITPs. This is just my experience and I am sure others have had the same and others have had different!

Executioners are very heavy. I had a set on my big bear 400. They were a bit too heavy for it.
