I don't know if any of you have had this problem, but a while back, my K&N filter came off of the boot, and bounced around in my airbox for a while. It dented up the wiring around the filter a little bit. Will this affect the performance any? Please help.

As long as there are no holes in it and you can get it back on and sealed it will work just fine. You won't even know anything happened.

There aren't any visible holes in the actual filter element. That doesn't necessarily mean that there aren't holes though. Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks.

Here's what I would do. . .
Take it out to clean, soak it in a little Simple Green for awhile. Then, hold a garden hose to the inside and spray hard as if you were cleaning it. Check it all the way around. Nothing unusual, well at least it's clean now. Let it dry, oil it, put an Outerwear on it and install it. I've dented and tweaked mine and they're fine.
