Default Foreman 4wd

Hello

Can anyone tell me if the Foreman 500 4wd is shift on the fly.Polaris vs Honda add says it isn't.Always thought my 08 is.

I can't say I'd recommend shifting it into 4x4 while spinning the rear in the mud sitting still, but if you are moving forward and not spinning tires, shifting into 4x4 on the move shouldn't hurt anything since all of the speeds are matched up or close to it. The polaris doesn't engage the 4x4 in the transmission, it locks the front hubs electrically, so it doesn't have to worry about shock loading a gearset.

I ride with two a 2005 Foreman 500s and they shifts in and out of 4wd on the fly.

Like Oldsman said, don't do it standing still with back tires spinning. Otherwise, it can be done.
I know it's not the same but I shift my Rubicon in and out of 4wd all the time while moving.

yea just about anything can be shifted while driving unless your back tires are spinning faster than the front
