I picked up a 1998 honda fourtrax 300 for 200 bucks. It has been sitting for 4 years. I am stripping it down. It has rust in the gas tank.What is the best thing to clean out?

 

Don't know about cleaning your gas tank but my boss has 2 of those machines that we have used for work. Awesome machines that will climb almost anything. Have fun with it!

 

Remove the tank, drop a few handfulls of bolts & nuts in it, put hot, hot soapy water in it and shake the heck out of it. Do this a bunch of times and then take the bolts & nuts out and rinse it with hot clean water. Then KREEM it. ** Welcome to Kreem Products.com **

 

The kreem is good stuff, I've also heard of some guys having good luck with POR15
