I need to take out the piston in the resivoir, I think it is leaking so I might need a new one or a re-build kit or whatever. I just want to see what's going on because the brakes never seem to work properly, and the brake cylinders are new so I know it ain't them that's causing trouble.

I took off the brake lever and tried to pull out the piston...it wont budge, how do you take it out??...It looks impossible. It feels like the piston is seized so I probably need a new one.

Ya I guess as long as the fluid line fits on and it has enough pressure for the brakes it would work.
We are getting an ebay account soon so I will look around.

How much(roughly) is a new Brake resivoir piston...or do they not come just as a piston, but with a new resivoir too...just wanted to know.

I took the resivoir apart but the piston wouldn't come out. There is one of those c ring clamps holding in the piston, I couldn't get it out.
I will call the dealer maybe later this week and ask them about it.
