i have a 00' 450es and it is the best 4x4 atv i ever owned and i'am a pretty agressive driver but it has enough power for me.but when i get it out on open trails she hits rev limiter at 82km/h and i was just wondering if i can remove the limiter at home.

Hey Ryan
give [ Four Storke Tech ]
a call.
the phone# is 814-842-6159
they can make you a new black box ignition
that will allow you to go past the stock
rev. limiter
P.S.
all you do is buy it and put it on your atv and
go

I am aware of the problem also. I believe the only way to NOT limit revs is to reprogram ignition "black box", or replace it altogether. I am constantly hitting the limit on my 2K 450-S!!!

man, I hit the limiter on a friends 450s at around 51MPH and it was screeming, I sure wouldnt want to run it any further, it would be like driveing a car to town in second gear down the hiway. You will float the valves and cause engine damage if ya did

I agree with JRM. When my 450 S tops out I don't feel the need to push the motor any further. Put bigger tires on.
