I don't know which one to get. Some people are telling me 300 some 400. I would like to have all the power of the 400 but i would REALLY like to have the reverse on the 300, but i guess i could live without it. The dealer i'm going to (Cernics in Johnstown) has really good prices all the time on everything, so that is good. I will ride either one on slate piles, LOTS of my family's trails (thanks Grandma) dirt roads, strip cuts, hills, and of course mud. So which one do you think i should get?

I got the 400 myself. I had a scrambler before and was used to a bigger machine and the 300 just felt way to small to be comfortable on. Plus MORE POWWER!!! I love my 400 and do not miss reverse at all. The thing is so light it takes nothing to turn it around.

It all kinda depends on the price for me. I'm gonna call around to every dealer around here and see who has the best prices and that should help me decide.

I would choose the 300 only if you are on the small side, or if the trails you ride are REALLY tight. Otherwise, go with the 400.

Yeah, I think the 300 would fit me better, since I am about 5'11 and 140Lbs. And a lot of the trails we have are pretty tight, but i've seen 400s go on them too. I am leaning towards the 300 because it's cheaper, it has reverse, and it would probably fit me better.

I would go with the 400ex. I love the 300 but I am going to sell it and get the 400 just for more power and I think i might be racing. If reverse is absolutely necessary than get the raptor. I like the 400 better just cause I think the raptor sits to high and has a higher center of gravity.

Either bike should fit ya just fine. However, if you mostly trail ride the 300 would be better (IMHO). The 400 is really nice, but likes the open spaces and long tracks. Friend of mine has a 400 and on tight short tracks we are even (I usually win!!), but on long tracks.... he whips me pretty good. Ya cant go wrong with a 300!!
