My son has a Honda 400ex. He has been having a problem with getting it to go back into neutral sometimes. It has happened to me a couple of times too. Usually if you hop off and move the machine one way or another I can get it to pop back in. I have talked to a couple of my buddies and they said shifting fork. Any ideas?

 

hi. it could possibly be your clutch neds adjustment, i have a 300ex and it did the same thing, i just ended up replacing the clutch, how has it been with the stock clutch? if it creeps while holding in the clutch and its in gear, you definetly need ethier a clutch or just an adjustment.

 

Quite possibly a shift fork.
