Hello I have a 1999 450 foreman S, it is in near mint condition. I bought it a few years back from an elderly family friend who only used it to drive down a gravel road to his camp. The bike has 9000km on it and the plastics aren't faded. I am just wondering if I should upgrade this one (jet kit, air filter, tires, pipe, etc.) or get a new bike. I have been driving a 2011 honda 420 and really enjoy being able to go in and out of 4 wheel drive but it's hard to pass on upgrading the 450 as it was a great deal. Any opinion would be appreciated along with any mods you would recommend if you think I should keep the 450.

So if you got a new one, would you be getting rid of the foreman? Possible to keep it and get a new one?

ATV's are like socks and underwear, you should always have more than one pair.

 

Unless you have money to burn, my opinion is upgrade. You should get 5 more years out of it before parts become hard to find. THEN sell it and get a new one. Just my 2 cents.
