yo, on my 400ex i can ride wheelies in 5th gear, all i do is pull it up in 3rd, then i keep shifting when i rev it out. i can get to 5th gear then i start goin until i see a car on the road or until i shift to the side to much.. the wind does effect it much cuz all u have to do is let off the gas and rev it again.. i have a white bros pipe and this helps alot when i doin wheelies. no offense but i dont think that ur too good at wheelies if u cant do that on a 400ex..

Well there is some more people tah can do the "impossible"!And like someone said if can't get a 400ex in 5th on a wheelie your not to good.The first time I rode my couisin's I got 4th from first.
I don't have to pop the clutch to lift the front end but that way I can grab the back brake if I go to far back.Plus I can keep power on longer because i am not going as fast and it won't run out of gearing.
