Default 1986 Honda Forman 4x4

the electric start doesnt work at all but the kick start doesnt want to grab very easily either. what is in there that its suppose to grab or any ideas for me to look for would be great? Thanks

The kick start has an one way bearing inside the auto clutch that grabs the clutch drum to crank engine when kick starter is applied this bearing also hold atv back while holding the clutch drum while going down an hill sorta like an jaybrake on an truck,,

Does the fuel pump have current through it when it is on. When I ground it out with a screw driver to the frame it sparks . Is this suppose to happen ?

Fuel pump has power when starter button is pressed to start an the cdi box send signal to fuel relay then relay tells fuel pump to come on then when starts up and runs the pump work with the cdi...when spark from cdi speeds up the pump speeds up an pump more fuel.
