Something is out of whack with that ad. It says 400FW but then down below where it lists what it fits, they are all 450's. I'd call them or email them the picture of what you need and what you got. I think the ad is screwed up. Look at this one.

It looks shorter. I count 29 links in yours and this one.

I thought the same thing but then started searching ebay....I saw where others had chains for the same year foremans... some ads said 54 teeth timing chain while others said cam chain....is there a difference ??? cam chain timing chain??? theres only one chain in the motor that I am aware of so thats why I thought I would ask.... just curious if anyone has run across this problem in the past ...

OK we got this figured out...The seller on ebay accidentally sent me a chain for a 400 ex ....bummer :-( ...he is making it right by refunding and paying to ship back to him but I have a VERY!!!! disassembled Foreman in my garage... I ordered another chain and now waiting for it to come in... another question... DOes anyone know the procedure to line the cam and crank back up....I got alot of shifting while taking it all apart....I see the cam gear had a dot that goes toward the top but where should the main shaft be when I attach the chain? Thanks in advance for any help....

Best I can tell by the book it says to have the T in the site window then the dot on the cam gear toward the top....Now what about that T??? isnt there a T for intake and the same T for exhaust stroke....How do you know which is which before the head is installed???

I'll let someone else answer this for sure but I would think that it doesn't matter at this point because what you are doing is putting the piston at TDC and at the same time, putting the cam where it belongs (the dot) which should put both valves closed, making it TDC on the compression stroke.
