my 2003 400ex wont start please help

Default my 2003 400ex wont start please help
My 400ex will not startup it will crank but wont turn over i adjusted the valves check the timing put a new sparkplug and battery in it put fresh gas in it i dont know wat else to do to it

Did it run before you did all that? If so maybe the valves are too tight causing low compression.

yea i had it in storage for bout a year and a half but i brought it from my cousin he said he was riding n it jus cut off on him while he was riding so i brought it n had it in storage

If so try a little either in the carb if it fires fuel is your promlem

Yea i got spark pulled the plug and put it next to the frame but after i held it in my hand first lol n i put new gas in it

Did the carb have fuel in it during storage if so that carb needs to be cleaned very well

take it apart use carb cleaner and compressed air to clean passages and jets very good. Make sure everything is clean a grain of sand can stop up the jets.
