need some help with this. I have a 2002 450 foreman with a blown up motor I found another motor out of a 1999 450 foreman will the older motor still work with my 02 frame?

 

Same ATV,same motor. Honda,s not known for changes the only differance between a 1999 and a 2002 is the newer on has selectable 2wd/4wd rather than full time ATV.

To make sure though go to a Honda Parts web site and see if they share the same part numbers.

 

Think may have put the 1999 ignition components with engine,Also make sure both engine has the same type shift programs...
