The Blackwaters on mine work great. The Dirt Devils are a good tire as well. The Blackwaters are so tough I had no air pressure in one and it didnt loose the bead and didn't look flat, even with me on the Recon. I don't know if you want to go with much taller of a tire for the Recon though. Extra ground clearence would be nice but, you get those heavy mud tires full of mud they get really hard to turn fast enough to get them to clean. I'm still uncertain if the Blackwaters are that much better then the Dirt Devils to justify the great difference in price, but they are a very good tire for the Recon.

Go with the TSL superswampers, the blackwaters suck!! they cake up with mud and will not clear.

I also had the blackwaters on my Honda 450es and I did not like them. but i have owned some mud sharks on a two wheel drive Honda 300 and they did great. I don't know how they would perform on a 4x4.
