I have a bet going with my friend (lol) for $100.
He has an 83 klt250 utility threewheeler that he says is faster than my bored out 300ex, I've ridden the klt and its got fair power for an old trike it still doesnt have what it takes.
Do you guys think hes crazy or hes got something here??? My 300ex (will be) bored out to a 305cc with an 11:1 piston and a few other mods.

What is a KLT250? A Tecate? Wait I dont think any 4 wheelers were out in 83.. IS this a 2 stroke or 4? If a two stroke and in good shape, you will probably get beat.

Its 4-stroke...... it has only front suspention. The only reason he thinks its so fast is because its manual clutch which make a machine seem like it has more power than an automatic.

I guess I'm confused here. I thought a 300EX was a manual clutch also. I mean you pull in the clutch to shift. Are you talking about hydraulic clutches? I don't get it.

I think we're getting mixed up again. It is a 1983 klt250.... it has electric start no reverse 5 speed manual it is black had 25-12-9 tires in the rear and a 22-11-8 tire in the front. It has full racks and a trailer hitch no rear suspention. Which would usually make it a UTILITY machine.
