Hey, I heard Honda was coming up with a new Sport ATV, it was gonna be a 450 the guy said. Does anyone know anything about it, or is this guy full or crap? I think Honda does need a newer, faster, sport quad though, now that the Raptor and Cannondale are out the 400EX might not sell so well.

 

They will come out with something. That would be nice. I hope he is right. If he is It will be a while because it would be the engine out of the new 450 fourstroke motocross bike which hasn't even been relesed yet. If he is wrong than it would be out of the XR650 dirtbike which is lighter and has more HP than the Raptor engine. I would rather have the 450.

 

I heard that honda was coming out with a 650ex. That's what i heard don't count on though. Honda might surprise and will. (who knows)

 

I know it would be great if they would use the CR450F motor. If this is such a feasible proposition for a company to take their MX 4-stroker and put it in a quad -- Why hasn't Yamaha done it. Their 426 is proven, and the 250F is on its way?

Yamaha seems to be more progressive with new technology (I am a big Honda fan) and would be the likely company to move first.

I think it may be a while before Honda makes this announcement that the CR450F is in a sport quad.

 

My Honda Dealer says that he will confirm whether or not there is a new bike, don't know what though, in May. He said dealers don't get that info. sooner than that, so it shouild be the same for you guys.
