You're running on alcohol!! Tell us everything!!! I too had a serious doubt. std gas banshees hardly push 60hp...I had a hard time seeing even a 500(or so) EX putting out 63 hp...now I understand.

Be sure to post pics!!! I like the chromed frame idea...and 250$ isn't that expensive.

Pipe did turn blue a bit at first with a 168. It also has a light gold color through out the rest of pipe. I might be running a little lean right now, but warmer weather is coming to fatten it up. There saying 75 Saturday.

I thinking very seriously about doing the alky thing. FTZ has a FCR39 with alky mods for $500 including twist throttle; I talked with them today. Do you have any alcohol jetting suggestions? Do's...Dont's?

For the perfect settings call Curtis Sparks thats what i did ... As far as if i like it everytime your going to stop riding you have to let gas run through your bike because if not the alcohol is like 80% water and rusts bearings "crank" .
But once its running its awesome your bike runs cool...

KX500 may have a 92mm piston, but its a 2 stroke, compared to your 4 stroke, thats totally different.
