Default Need help!

Okay so I just bought a 07 trx 450r electric start and when I got home I had trouble getting it started after I shut it off. Battery died. So I charged it. Ran fine today until my buddy jumped on and put it in gear and it just died completely. Won't even crank. Charged battery again. Ride around yard once, stopped, then put it in neutral and sat for a minute then I put it in gear again and it completely died. Wouldn't crank. But the lights were still on? Takes forever to start up even sometimes when it's hot

If not your batt, it sounds like a charging issue but check your grounds make sure they are good.
Grab a volt meter after you charge the batt. check voltage, start machine check voltage again see if there is any change with the machine running. It should be around 13.4 volts running and 12.5 dropping to 11 or so when you engage the starter then jumping up to 13,4 when it starts. If it goes back to the previous voltage it was before cranking it is not charging. If all is well change batt.

It is a wiring fault, probably the main ignition switch wire but could be earth.
