I was looking at graydon proline,rick ritter's poweroll supertrapp,and the supertrapp IDS2.

I don't have much money to spen and these where all the least expensive one's.

I didn't list dg because I know they are LOUD.

 

If you want a somewhat quiet pipe make sure you NEVER buy DG because they are very loud....they sound like harley pipes...LOL
I have the IDS2 on my 300 and i like it. I'd still like it even more quiet but its not too loud.

 

Just exactly how loud is a DG pipe? I can deal with something that is about as loud as a 2 stroke but I don't want something that you can hear a half mile away either.

 

The only "quiet" aftermarket pipe is the supertrapp E.A.R. series. I don't really mind the loudness but... ok i lied I love the loudness, my riding area doesn't require a certain decibal. ANy way I have a RCM pipe and it is the loudes pipe for a 300ex i have heard. It is louder than the white bros on the 400ex. I have never heard the IDS2 pipes but Usually the spark arrested ones are quieter.

 

Dont have any knowledge on the ones you asked for, however White Bros. is louder and has more low end torque than a FMF Megamax. FMF is faster..IMHO. FMF is what I have now. I would save up the $$ to get what you want.

 

Have you ever heard how loud a harley davidson motorcycle is? Well thats how my DG pipe sounded, just like a harley with loud pipes.

 

That's exactly how I describe the sound of my bike, "like a one cylinder Harley". Ive got the old ISD with 12 disks on my 400EX. A buddy of mine had a White Bros on his 300EX that was also way loud.
