Thanks for the pointer HondaR24, so
Partzilla is $38 and & $6 shipping
Cheap Cycle Parts is $39 & $14 shipping
Online Cycle Parts is $37 & $20 shipping
Rocky Mountain is $44 & $7 shipping

So Partzilla is $7 cheaper than Rocky Mountain. But since you said Rocky Mountain I may go that way. Thanks!

Default Front diff noise

Got it all put back together and works great, but no there is a noise in the front diff. Between 4 and 10 mph and in 2wd it makes a whirring whining noise but in 4wd it is a whole lot quieter. So I jacked it up and it sounds like the slashback is to tight, if I turn both tires its a whole lot louder than if I only spin one tire, and if I spin one forward and one backward there is no noise. It did not do this before the u jount broke. So is it involved with my 4wd? What could be causing it? Or do I just need to drive it and see what happens? It sounds pretty bad though.

I wouldn't drive it till you figure it out. Did noise is never normal on these Hondas. If the backlash is out of spec, then you run a huge risk of damaging the gears. Here is a service manual for your foreman. The troubleshooting section under front drive should help you out. http://www.mediafire.com/?k3ku9qbwt4cq23d

The password to open the manual is hondaatvforums.net

Thanks for the reply HondaR24, so I pulled the front part of the diff were the drive line hooks up and where the pinion gear is and gave it a few hits with a hammer and put it back togather and no noise! I wonder how the backlash got to tight??

Hopefully I am good to go for a little while!
