Hi,
I have a 2003 Honda TRX400EX. I just went to start my quad and load it up and it wouldn't start. None of the electric stuff works (headlight, taillight, neutral light). I just had it running a couple hours before. The battery is good and all the wiring looks connected. Have not had quad long. Can anyone help?

Check connections around battery box, might have corrosion at connections mud rust etc. A friend had same problem, could run for 15 min then die suddenly and no power. Move wires and connections around and get neutral light back then start again. Can't remember which connection close to battery area, but was heavily corroded causing issue sanded and put electric contact cleaner on it hadn't had a problem since

 

I just checked all the connections and they look good but I found a blown 15 amp fuse that I think may be the problem.
