im new to this page. I want to know what is wrong with my 300ex. When it runs it has a loud tick. not it needs the valves adjusted tick. I took my head off the timing chain has no slack. It dosent affect it riding? someone help

 

Without being able to hear it, could be a lot of things. Is your oil level up where it should be? Does the tick speed up and slow down with the rpm?
Does it get louder or quieter going from idle to high rpm? Could be many things, need more info.
