400ex compatible?

400ex compatible?
Alright guys, here is my problem. I have a guy on craigslist with a full HMF exhaust, nerf bars, and full skid plate for $300. Will his parts (off a 2004 400ex) fit onto my 2007 400ex? And if they won't, how easy will it be to modify the parts to fit how i need them to?

Moose shows the skid plate to fit from 98-08.
Rocky Mountain ATV shows the same part number for nerf bars on the 04 and 07.
HMF shows the same part number for both 04 and 07.
