true, maybe the raptor is a little overated but it's still a great machine. if you want a peppy trail qaud you cant go wrong with it. but i hate to say it, a banshee is a 350 2 stroke and you say how big and bad the ds 650 is. well that 350 could easly kick the ds 650's a$$ with a pipe and jet kit. so dont go running your mouth about how bad a yamaha is becuse there fun bikes.

I drag raced 2 Banshees, and a DS650 up the easy hill (The only big one I could top) at Sand Mountain Utah. Yep, I got roosted very much bad, but the Banshees were far and beyond the DS from me.
I also talked to a guy who had a new Raptor, he upgraded(?) from a Banshee. He admitted he was quite disappointed in the new Raptor.
Now, all I have to do is convince my wife I need a Banshee before they go out of production...

Are you saying Chevy is better than Ford? I bought a new s-10 in 95, it was ok till 34000 miles, after that i had a new problem every 5000 miles. My dad has a 94 s-10 and as soon as he went over the 36000 mile warranty he needed a new transmission. I got 150000 miles out of my s-10 but i spent thousands keeping it running. CHEVY SUCKS as far as reliability goes. Just read consumer reports and see who makes the best products. I own a Toyota Tacoma now and after 70000 miles NOT ONE PROBLEM!!!!!!! I'll NEVER buy another Chevy ever! I work on the road and drive my own car so i pile the miles on and I'm glad i bought a Toyota.

What a dumb post....oh and Ford Rules.
I have over 150K on my mustang and havent had to do anything to it other than regular maintenance and my friend has an 89 mustang and have over 210K on it with nothing more than two clutches in it. (drag racing is hard on clutches, what can i say)
To tell you the truth yamaha might not make the best handling quads but they definately make some of the most powerful. I have yet to see a quad that can be made so fast and powerful as the banshee with so little money. If the thing wasnt so ugly (no offense) and wasnt a two stroke i probably would have bought one.....on second thought if i had the cash to buy a banshee i would stay with honda, buy a 250r, and still have a super reliable quad. LOL
