The banshee is a whole other breed of quad. It will be very hard to beat unless you have a ton of mods or are on a tight trail.
Put it this way, you're going to spend mega bucks to make your 300ex as fast as a banshee. I suggest just keeping the 300ex to have fun with and make a nos powered drag racers out of a used banshee that you'll buy with all of the cash you are going to waste on the 300ex. Dont get me wrong you aren't "wasting" money on the 300ex but its a little silly to put all of that money into your 300 just to beat a banshee and besides that the only thing you'll end up with is a banshee beating, unreliable 300ex that need alchohol or racing fuel...it makes no sense to me.

Like i said, but a used beat up banshee for high speed running and keep your reliable and fun 300ex.

The only way I can think of would be to sell your EX and buy a Banshee, then mod that.

Either that or find some way to stuff a Hemi into it...

282cc single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke mated to a 5-speed, versus a 347cc twin-cylinder liquid cooled 2-stroke mated to a 6-speed, both of which weigh within 15lbs of eachother?
The only thing you'll beat him to is getting your engine started: you've got electric, he's got kick.

Good luck...
