Best place for a honey do list is the trash......when you take it out!!! Outta sight , outta mind.

 

Stator was full of sand when I took it apart.. because there was no hose on the cover..
So I found an old "shop vac" hose and used a heat gun to form the hard plastic to fit the opening of the cover (oval)..
Even put the red connector back on to let everyone know it's a "Redneck Fix"

 

And one where it will find clean air.. well, at least cleaner than right behind the front wheel..

 

Also while out test riding it, was taking off kind of sluggishly.. top end is real good.. like it wasn't starting off in the low gear.. so I pulled the primary clutch apart, and the rollers were flat spotted.. ordered new ones (5.5gm) from Hetrick Racing along with some red springs for the secondary clutch to bring the stall speed up to 2000rpm(Shoes are already drilled).. and replaced the 26mm Keihin round slide carb(was sticking open a few times and that wont work with a 10yr old) with a 24mm OKO flat slide.. should help, and plan to get out soon with the Grandson to test up at Walker Valley ORV Park.. they have over 70 miles of trails..

 

The little 90 rips.. and the clutching issue is all cleared up.. had a blast on Memorial Day weekend..
