2016 500 foreman rubicon electronic gear shift problem, it is stuck in 2nd gear and the botton shifts don't make any sound need help fixing the problem.

 

Check if you can change using the emergency lever. If you can't, you have a mechanical fault. Possibly a seized shift motor, but more likely broken selectors or loose star wheel. If you can change with the emergency lever, get it in neutral, start the engine and try to change into 1st electronically, if the dash gear indicator starts to flash, it will follow a sort of Morse code, the sequence tells Honda mechanics what the fault is. On a one year old bike, you are probably best letting them fix it.
