If any of you guys out there have a 300EX with a supertrapp pipe on it let me know what the difference you saw and also I noticed that the price of the pipe for a 300EX is $100.00 more than the 400EX is that because the 300's pipe comes with a headpipe in that price.

MXZ,
I am also looking a piping my new 300ex. The IDS2 was one of my first choices for a pipe. If you could keep me informed on your findings.

I put the IDS2 on my Lakota and I really like it. I had a problem with a weld on the head pipe for my machine and Supertrapp's cust serv. sent me a whole new pipe and head pipe. The increase was quite noticable and the sound is really good and not too loud.

I love mine, just loud enough but not too loud (you can make it loud for quiet by adding or removing discs)
I can't say i noticed a difference from stock because i bought the quad with a DG pipe on it. That pipe was way too loud and the thing wouldnt idle right with that pipe. Then i switched to the supertrapps ids2 and noticed that it idled better and felt like it had a power increase over the DG.
I like it.
